Privacy
Saylolo is a small, free app made by one person. It collects only what it needs to work, never sells data, and shows no ads.
What we store
- Your account: your email address and name, or your Google sign-in, through Google Firebase Authentication.
- Your progress: your level, topics, saved and learned expressions, reviews, quiz and grammar scores, the writing you choose to check, and your settings. It is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) so it syncs between your devices.
- Usage numbers: once a day, the days you used the app, when you joined, the kind of device (for example “iPhone”), the languages you study, how many expressions you’ve seen, and the link that brought you (for example a “reddit” link). Only the maker can see these, to learn whether people come back. There are no third-party analytics or advertising trackers and no tracking cookies.
- Reminders, if you turn them on: your notification settings, a push address for your device, and a small copy of your progress, kept on Cloudflare to choose and send reminders.
AI feedback
When you ask for feedback, the text you wrote (and the expressions or grammar point it’s about) is sent to DeepSeek to be checked, either through Saylolo’s server or straight from your browser if you use your own key. Don’t include personal details you wouldn’t want shared.
Where it lives
Google Firebase (Firestore in Europe) and Cloudflare. Both protect data in transit and at rest.
Deleting your data
To delete your account and everything stored with it, email danialmoafi@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. It’s done within 30 days.
